In every big city and on every big event public urinals for men can be found. With the 'Vrouwenplaszone' (Women Pee Zone) we wanted to highlight the absence of a decent pee solution for women in public space. We created this absurd conversation piece, placed in public space in front of a crowded field of grass in the city centre of Rotterdam. Our goal was to provoke as much reactions as possible and hereby open up the conversation about what could be a fair solution.

We contacted newspapers, send out a press-release and in the meantime more and more confused and angry reactions were shared on Social Media. A Dutch newspaper then shared the photo as well.

We hope that we caught the attention of the local authority and that we can finally think of a female-friendly 'pee happily ever after' solution.
